Training for the 2006 Catolympics

Hello everyone at home! This is The Human Pet reporting to you live from Training Camp where Zeus is honing his sumo skills for the 2006 Catolympics! We've been lucky enough to snag a few photos and get some comments to give you the latest in his quest for gold!

Interviewer: Zeus, we noticed this book in your training bag. Any significance?

Zeus: Yes, Human Pet. I have been reading On Tai Chi Chuan in order to better harmonize my chi. I find that once my chi are in perfect balance, my workouts are much more effective. I also sleep better which is an added bonus.

Interviewer: Wow! That is one huge food bowl, Zeus!

Zeus: Yes. I have been attempting to pack on the pounds so I can better handle my opponents.

Interviewer: How many times do you eat like this?

Zeus: I eat about five to six times a day like this.

Interviewer: FIVE to SIX times A DAY?!?!

Zeus: Right now, I am a sleek 14 lbs, but in order to be truly competitive, I should be 22-25 lbs. It's going to take a lot of tuna, chicken, and sardines, Human Pet.

In other news, Isis still refuses to train for Tub Soccer. Will she or will she not decide to get in the rink this year? Will she get over her paranoia that the sponges are attacking her? This interviewer will keep you informed as to the latest developments in this ongoing story.

I'd like to give Isis a kissie on her head. She's awfully pretty.

You still have to contend with Shaggy at 18 pounds, too, Zeus. Let the rasslin' begin!

Hi Zeus! You sure do got a lot of chicken and sardines and stuff to eat. With a bowl that big, and determination, I bet you can do it, though! I put your link on my blog. I hope that's ok :) Stretching is good for working on chi too. That's the only chi exercise I do.

Tell Isis the sponges are usually easy to deal wif - soft, squishy, an light. Watch out, thou! They spit when they're wet.

*shiver* I'm getting scared about this sumo wrestling now, I may be big but I'm not really a fierce kitty...and I am only 21 lb now, so if you reach 25 lb you will probably flatten me, Zeus! Maybe I need to do more training, I didn't realise it would all be so competitive!!

Wow Zeus! Eating like that, you'll pack on the pounds in no time. Unfortunately, your V.E.T. will have some stern words for you on your next visit, though. They're never happy when we gain too much weight.

Also, is Kukka considering adding you to her Tomcat list?

Isis - we don't like playing in the tub either. But there's nothing scary in ours!
