Thanks, Macy Gray, for sponsoring this post

While sipping my morning brew, I looked through scores and scores of templates. Know that sick and disgusting feeling you get at the bottom of your stomach when you suspect you just got yourself into a big hole that you can't get yourself out of? I had that the whole time while I sifted thru those wretched thumbnails.

*BEEP* off, HTML. Why do you have to be so *BEEP*ing hard?

I could try this one...

Or this one...

Or hey, what about this?

But I think the main emphasis needs to be on just one syllable here: Try.

Because in the end, when I manage to screw this blog's appearance worse than an afghan hound's fur caught in a windstorm, I'll be left with only one thing left to say...

At least I tried.

Doood! You're back! And front! And sideways! Yay!

Yeah, the template thing is a little frustrating because Blogger has the whole XHTML thing going on when a lot of us are better with HTML, I just redid my blog...I wanted to try the XHTML so I could have widgets, but it made my head hurt.

I am too ignorant to know what the issues are, but maybe you should just start a new blogger blog with one of their standard templates, and put a link on this blog to the new one? Would that help?

you should set up a pratice blog and try out the templates. we have one.

Zeus!!!! You are back buddy! Missed you and your cattitude.

I agree with the Meezer, set up a practice blog that is not open to viewing to try stuff and see how it works and looks. I do it too.

I definitely like the idea of practicing templates first. I hadn't thought of that. I blame it on being so book smart that I have no street smarts.

Of course, having no street smarts could be the direct result of never having been outside too...

Zeus! Thank you for coming back!! We missed your wit and wisdom! As for XHTML and HTML, mama has been trying for months to understand how to do anything. We reaaaly want a three column blog cause it would be a lot nicer. But we still have our old two column one. Now I am going to do a ((happy dance)). Zeus is here!!
