Bon appetit, human pet!

Mmm, mmm, mmm, my friends!

Today is the beginning of the fall semester for my human pet! We're all very proud of her for the tremendous start to her graduate work at the University of St. Thomas. With a current 4.0 average under her belt, she now attempts Educational Research which promises to be challenging in every sense of the word!

With this in mind, I realized that the human pet was going to need some serious brain food for her first day back to class. I knew with proper nutrition she would be able to tackle the tough vocabulary and comprehend the daunting concepts that would be presented to her!

Thus, I packed her lunch for school.

I started with some flavorful fresh fruit to wet the appetite:

I added in some caffeine just to insure there would be no inappropriate dozing:

Then, I concocted an epicurean masterpiece of luscious tuna and creamy peanut butter in between two slices of fresh white bread. Two great tastes brought together in the name of protein:

However, what is a sandwich without something crunchy beside it? Henceforth, I packed her her own delightful snack bag of salmon and yogurt kibble straight out of my food bowl:

Bon appetit, human pet!

I would have packed different foods but that's a matter of taste, I suppose. At any rate, it looks like a healthy, well balanced lunch to me! I hope she appreciates your help!

Zeus, you are so very thoughtful to your human pet. She'll be studying very hard, and though she may end up trading the kibble at the lunchtable, I'm sure she thinks that you are the bee's knees!

Zeus~
You see, each human each pet is so different to the next. One food may be good for you but it can have the complete and total opposite effect on the pet standing next to you.Job well done
Zeus..Woof-woof

Oh Zeus, you are very sweet indeed to pack such a healthy lunch for your human pet. You are right about all of the protien, that's what makes humans smart. I don't think my humans would like that lunch (well, probably the berries) but they aren't super genious humans so what do they know?

Looks good, but not sure about combining tuna and peanut butter. Each on their own is OK, but together? I am not so sure.

Mum packs her own lunch, yogourt, fruits, caffeine and protein. You did good Zeus.

I too think it was extreemly nice of you to pack her lunch after she stole your Kukka mug. You deserve some of your favorite attention for that.
I personally am not a big fan of the tuna/peanut butter sandwich...but then I don't like peanut butter. I hear from many other human pets that I am weird for not likeing peanut butter...what do you think Zeus?

The kibble is a very nice touch...it might keep her in the good graces of her professor's cat. Which might increase her grades.

Hmmm . . . I'm not too sure human pet will appreciate the kibble. However, it's the thought that counts.

That was very thoughtful of you Zeus - you might consider sharing a little nip with her after a long week of studying!

Wow Zeus,

You are so thoughtful. If we tried to make lunch for Mom, Sammy would eat it before she got it. The tuna and p-nut butter thing is a bit different. We are pretty sure Mom would not go for that. And kibble? No way! We don't share one piece of that with anybody!

Zeus, that was so generous of you! As much as I love my mom, I don't think I'd share my crunchies with her.

Zeus you are right to take care of your human pet. I'm sure she'd do the same for you.

P.S. Yummy lunch.

Can't she just lick her butt like the rest of us cats do? I know it's empty calories, but it keeps me awake during the day!

Dingleberries are cheaper than strawberries!
