Oooooh, a blue and green one! Those are unusual colors. We have a red one in our front yard (well, on the property line of our front yard) so we could've done this one easy! MOL

That was pretty easy but still fun.
In answer to your question about Canada Day...it's basically the same as American celebrations, except with Canadian flags. I don't think we do anything different.
That blue one is pretty. ours are silver!
See, and I thought they were all yellow!

Good job! We almost suggested as a joke that you find a Bicentennial Fire Hydrant (that would take a LOT of walking!) but we didn't think there were any left. We found out later that there were still some around but they are very rare:
