Seeing as though I do not get out of The House very often, the human pet was kind enough to do some research for me concerning why animals are given up by their owners and sent to the SPCA. I suspect that some of these reasons are the same for The Humane Society. Nonetheless, I think it's important to remind myself (and all of you out there) why this organization needs our help.

Sometimes we just want to bite the humans! There are so many uneducated, ignorant ones who do not like themselves - and thus they can not like anybody else, let alone animals, it is really sad.
You have a good human, helping you do this wonderful thing!
We will keep stopping by, and we would pledge a lot more but the staff says we first need to win the lottery....
The worst excuse we have ever heard is the house was redecorated and the animal did not fit the color scheme. Some humans need worse than a bite!
Wow, Dachsies...
It's been awhile since I have heard something that pathetic. Are you sure this wasn't Paris Hilton talking? It sounds like something that would come out of her mouth.
Wait...
Did I just say that out loud?
