Thursday Thirteen Edition #3

Thirteen Ways To Defeat Fleas

1. Give them a roundhouse kick to the face!
2. Give those buggers the evil eye.
3. Hold a stare down as if you were at the Ok Corral.
4. Go skydiving. When you pull the ripcord, the G-force will make you fly up, and the fleas plunge to their death.
5. Rub yourself over with a sticky lint roller. Sure, you'll lose some fur in this process, but the ends justify the means.
6. Call in Dr. Phil for an intervention.
7. Invite all of them to sit down to watch The Dark Crystal. When they fall asleep, stab them with your index claw!
8. With the most sensitive inflection you can muster, say, "It's not you. It's me. I just need some space right now."
9. While standing on the edge of a bathtub full of water, tell the fleas, "Don't make me jump! 'Cause I'll do it! I really will!"
10. Eat plenty of pork n' beans. As they say, those beans are the magical fruit. Surely, they can help you in this regard as well.
11. If you live with other animals, tell the fleas: "Hey guys! I hear Fluffy's having a big party on his skin tonight, and it's not even B.Y.O.B.!"
12. Go Kojak. After all: bald is beautiful!
13. And when all else fails, use Revolution.

Hey Zues!

I think the roundhouse kick looks like it would take 'em all out!

My favs (and what I will try if I ever encounter these critters--God forbid):

• The evil eye.
• "It's not you, it's me. I just need some space right now."
• The open bar on Fluffy's skin.

I don't think I have to worry, though. I'm sure my Tomcat Stable would be willing to throw themselves at the fleas and fight them on my behalf.

You inspired me, Zeus...my first Thursday Thirteen is up!

That is hilarious! I'll have to share some of these great tips with Izzy should she get fleas.

Happy Thursday Zeus! I'm sure my Ella and Fitzgerald will find these tips helpful, I'll have to tell them about them. BTW love you blog, you are so creative. Ella and Fitz could use some pointers from you. They would post, but I'm sure they are somewhere resting up for their all night play sessions!

One of the (very few) good things about living in AZ... fleas are almost non-existant!

Awesome list! We don't have a lot of fleas or ticks or antything here in Colorado. I can't be of any help to you. Good luck with those roundhouse kicks! I hear that they make that hind quater area nice and muscular.

Great ideas Zeus! My baby Cloe figured out also if you throw yourself into the toilet(maybe on accident when you just wanted to sit on the lid to watch watch your daddy shave and didn't realize the seat was left up) it rinses those nasty buggers off too...but blue water did bad things to her white spots, so she only tried it once...

Happy TT!! Thanks for stopping by!
