Travel Plans

Dear human pet,

With school coming to a close for you, I thought it best to let you know my plans for the summer. I know this might shock you, but I have decided to explore the world. You have kept me inside long enough, and after all, I am five years old.

I have been speaking with Mr. Kimmel Gnome from next door, and he says that seeing the world has opened his eyes and changed his life. He says he has become a better gnome for it. He told me about all of the countries he has visited and some of the more popular spots for tourists. He helped me make my travel plans on Travelocity, and he has even offered assistance on what to pack.

I hope you understand that I need to do this. I need to prove to myself that I can survive in the big City of Outside. You have brought me up well so do not worry. I will make you proud.

I am writing this, though, so that I may have your blessing on my journey. Please let me know that this is alright with you, but understand the emotional effect of what the word, "no", will have on my growth and development should you choose to use it.

I love you always,

Be careful of the travel gnome, he has been known to get into a few tough spots!

Zeus, don't leave us all summer! Will you still blog?

Of course I am going to blog! I recently just purchased this fabulous Compaq nc80000 which is quite the handy-dandy laptop. I am bringing it with me on all my travels so I can document my experiences.

Let's hope the human pet says yes!

Well, as long as you're still going to blog, then we will hope that the human pet says YES too.

What does it matter if the human pet says you can not go? You'll still go, right?

I mean, exactly who is in charge at your house? Tomcat up and take charge. This letter is to inform her of your plans, not to ask permission!

Of course you should come to West Michigan! I am sure to show you an incredible time...I have a lot of amazing connections!

Ooh, Zeus, you are going travelling? How exciting! I like the idea of travelling as long as it doesn't involve being imprisoned in a cat carrier in a car. Will you be passing through the UK on your travels? There are always comfy beds and pouches of Stinky Goodness for guests here you know! With ref. to your comment on my blog, Zeus - I congratulate your human on her grasp of British. You would probably hear people say "a load of codswallop" or "a load of old codswallop" rather than "a bunch of codswallop" - just Britpicking!

Man Zeus, what a daring and brave cat you are. Let us know your itinerary asap. If you come anywhere near Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, let us know.

You should plan a trip to the Finger Lakes in New York State- we can show you around.

Oh we are SO jealous, Zeus. We barely made it as far as the back sidewalk and now we find out you'll be seeing the whole WORLD! Unfair, Mom, very unfair.

Have fun and don't forget to blog! We will just travel in our outdoors. We don't like moving vehicles. Our garden gnome is traveling round the world and we get photos and stuff back from him.

Zues
be very careful while you are traveling around this big world. Don't forget to write(blog)everyday so we can learn of your adventures

Yes, Zeus, I am in Minnesota too. Let me know if you'll be dropping in.

I haven't met scooby, shaggy, and scout, although it appears we live in the same city. I hope they will leave a calling card on my blog.

And by the way, if you want a traveling companion, I could recommend my friend Darcy Xenophon, who has been to Europe and Hawaii recently.

Have fun. If you make a stop in Wisconsin stop in.

You're welcome to drop in on us in Eastern PA, provided you can get thru all the road construction.

Careful with that gnome, he likes bubbles up his whoopsidaisy, if you know what I mean...

Oh! I had a gnome come stay with me for a while! He was my girlfriend Dimples' Momma's gnome!
