Wow, they are really getting into it. Keep a low profile. Maybe under the bed.
Speaking from personal experience, I've found wallpaper scraps are best when you grab them quickly, then run off with your prize. But don't stop with just one. Repeat this several times, leaving the pieces around the house for your pet to find later! It's best to make yourself scarce at this point.
