Caution: Rut Ahead

This is what humans call "falling into a rut".

I've just been pretty apathetic to all around me. I've had no desire to leave the couch. I've contemplated making art out of the litter, but it remained nothing more than a contemplation. I've picked and poked at my food, but the taste is simply blaise.

Not even observing Kelly Osbourne and her infectious smile could snap me out of this so-called "rut".

I'd always been curious how humans could fall into so many ruts when such ditches seemed to be fairly obvious, even from great distances. Now, I seem to have more clarity on the issue.

The only somewhat interesting thing to report is that I have returned to calling Ares by his adorable nickname of Chares (pronounced as cherries). His tear duct popped out last night, and the human pet just shook her head. Nothing like one more bill during the holidays to make the season bright!

Has anything interesting been happening with you, my friends and readers? If so, let me live vicariously through you.

Too bad about Ares eye.

It must be 'rutting' season, ha ha. Everything was nicely boring until the locksmith came today to replace the front door lock and charged miewmie £165.50. She is still lying on the sofa in shock.

Nope nothing happening here apart from the Beans wishing they were back in sunny Hawaii, and us being glad they aren't.

Zeus,
Sorry to hear about Ares' eyes.
Don't worry you won't be in the rut for much longer just hold on until the holidays come then there'll be soo much excitement.

Well, crap. Now I realize that even less is happening in my life. At least you have interesting things happening in your life--like Chares' eye trying to bust out of his head. I think the most exciting thing that happened here was when our human ran up the stairs like her butt was on fire so she could make sure not to miss the Fed Ex delivery when the door bell rang. If only we had thumbs--then things would get spicy around here!

Zeus,

Nope! Nothing interesting at all in my dawg house. That's why my mom has been so lax in posting. She's afraid every one would be bored to tears reading my blog... Hmpf! So insulting! Hope you get out of your rut and hope Cherrie's eye is ok!

that sounds kind of icky! we is in a rut too - there's only so many times we can toss the same crap to the floor from the tables without getting bored.

Geez, we hope Ares eye is better. Mama's in a rut too, but we're trying to help her snap out of it. She says to tell you that EG eated a piece of plastic meshy string and then scooted it out on the carpet and then she freaked out and he had to go the v-e-t and get a :whispers: rectal exam. Hee hee!
He's ok, but Mama drinked a lot of adult beverages over the weekend.

Love,
Tazo
