Hello friends!
I would like to extend a warm Mount Olympuss welcome to the canines that have frequented the blog as of late! It is such a joy to see cultural bridges being built right here among us, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. I hope that you continue coming back, and I look forward to reading your interesting insights! I've also made a special section for you to the right so I can note who you all are and make sure to visit your blogs in the future.
With that said, it would seem the postcards for The Amazing Zeus are slowly coming to a close. It's a little saddening in a way, but Phil made an extra-special stop today to give me my next postcard. He and I read it together:

Dear Zeus,
We are looking forward to your visit here in Connecticut! As you can see on the card front, there are many places to visit. We live where the star is marked under the Powder Ski Resort.
See you soon,
Beau Beau and Angie
How odd. Beau Beau and Angie live under a ski resort? I hadn't realized that the entire time, and I have been reading their blog for four months. How extraordinary! I wonder if they can hear people flying off the ski jumps from the roof of their house. I'm curious if the sound of the lifts running keeps them at night. This should definitely be fun...
Wait. It's July. Bah! No snow! Oh well...I'm coming nonetheless!

Oh, connecticut is so much fun. I am a ConnectiCat. Grampa Norton, Ralphie and I were all borned there. Where Beau Beau and Angie live is really purrty. And you MUST go to the Navy Base in Groton (that's where our daddy was stationed when he was in the Navy) to see all the really cool submarines! Oh, so many wonderful places to see! - Trixie
that's a nice part of the country I hear tell Zeus. And for a cat of your famousness, you might wear sunglasses so the mobs don't attack you at the airport.
I've never heard of anyone living under a ski resort either, but it sounds very interesting. Here in Frostbite Falls, the ski hill is turned into a water park in the summer. If that one is, you might try tubing down the hill with your human!

OH! A ski resort! Momma LOVES to ski and she is hoping if you get to go, Zeus then she can come. She's never skied back east..
Conneticut is a nice state. Too bad you can't make a side trip and visit us in northern NJ.
Connecticut sounds like fun! Btw, Zeus! Does your momma always call you Zeuskee Doodle?? I love it!!! Zeuskee Doodle...I just had to say it again! lol :)
If she called me Zeuskee Doodle, I'd probably headbutt her butt to the wall!
Zeuskee Doodle...Grumble, grumble...how is anyone supposed to take me seriously?!
I bet you'll have a great time. Don't you always? Mom says Connecticut is furry purrty, but she hasn't seen the snow up there either. Mom laughed hard about you saying you'd headbutt your human pet to the wall. She said she could just picture it. I think Mom has some weird pictures in her head. She's been hanging out with Crazy Grandma too much. *giggles*

That was so nice of you to add a special section for your doggie friends! I love kittes too, although many people see me and think I want to eat cats. Yuck! Cats are my friends!
Wow, the postcards and trip idea sounds fun and interesting. Too bad me just found out about it, although a trip to Okinawa might be long for your human pet ;). Just please never headbutt me... me think the brain couldn't take it =)
